House Guru Gangz

Founded on 21 November 2014, House Guru Gangz is a trio of DJ Chahelman, Nasho Beats and Jowdy. In April 2015, the group was nominated at the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA) for songs from their debut album ‘Born to be a Star’, which they released in 2014. ‘Kaadona Wange’ was nominated for Best Collaboration, while ‘Guru Dance’ featuring Neslow was nominated in the Best Afro-Pop category. The nominations were followed by the making of a video for ‘Guru Dance’, which was released in April 2015. The video made its first appearance on the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation’s ‘Whatagwan’ music show.
