Buntu (UK & SA) is a foundation for a community, bringing together like-minded friends to encourage creative expression. Buntu provides a platform for musical artists, DJs and visual artists, vocalists or performers to come together and create something new.

Buntu hosts various electronic music production courses in South Africa, showcasing various electronic music production, DJing and live performance software and hardware with qualified tutors and established artists in the music industry, creating opportunity for anyone who is interested in furthering their careers within the music industry.

Samantha Blackburn’s aim with Buntu is to explore new creative ground and hopefully awaken an interest that will see artists of all forms coming together to create an experience more than an electronic musical event. Buntu is a beautiful and old concept: the belief that we are defined by our compassion and kindness towards each other — it embodies the ideas of connection, community, and mutual caring for all.
