Nigeria: Shoday shares new single Come Kulosa ft. Olamide
Nigerian Afrobeats artist Shoday has released a new single titled ‘Come Kulosa’, featuring rapper Olamide.
Shoday.
The track had already gained attention on the social media platform TikTok before its official release, with nearly 450 000 user-generated videos created using the song’s audio, according to promotional figures released alongside the single.
‘Come Kulosa’ continues the melodic and romance-focused style associated with Shoday’s recent music, combining Afrobeats rhythms with lyrics centred on attraction and interpersonal relationships.
Olamide contributes a guest verse that incorporates elements of street slang and conversational delivery, adding a contrasting dynamic to the track’s production.
Built around the repeated hook “Baby mi come kulosa”, the single is structured for broad appeal across streaming platforms and social media-driven music trends.
The release follows a series of tracks from Shoday that have gained traction online, particularly through short-form video content and dance challenges. Industry observers have increasingly linked the growth of Afrobeats releases to viral engagement on platforms such as TikTok, where songs often gain popularity before wider commercial release.
With ‘Come Kulosa’, Shoday continues to build his profile within the Afrobeats genre, which has seen expanding international audiences in recent years.
