Pleasure Tsa Manyalo

Bio

Born on March 1, 1980, in Tjiane, Ga-Mphahlele, Pleasure Ramadimetja Peta widely known as Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, grew up surrounded by music, spirituality, and strong cultural values. Her musical foundation was shaped at Revelation Assembly Church, where her grandfather, the late Bishop Nkotsane Charles Maja, served as a respected leader. It was in this environment that her voice and passion for traditional music were nurtured, preparing her for a future that would see her become one of Limpopo’s most celebrated Manyalo artists.

Pleasure officially stepped into the music industry in 2005, releasing her first project MaAndrews Vol. 1 (Sheba nna), followed by her debut album under her own name, Pleasure Vol. 1, Mosadi wa Setagwa. Since then, she has consistently produced hit albums and unforgettable singles that have defined the Manyalo genre across South Africa. Her catalogue includes beloved songs such as “Lefotwana,” “Laela,” “Ntshike ka diatla,” “Modimo ke sethakga,” “Mngwega ye lesome,” and the hugely popular “Ke Lorile,” which achieved second place in the 2022 Song of the Year competition on Thobela FM,marking a historic moment for Manyalo music.

Beyond her musical impact, Pleasure has established herself as a community builder and entrepreneur. Through Pleasure Enterprises, she operates a butchery, car wash, and recording studio, using her platform to uplift local talent and create economic opportunities in her community. With her powerful voice, cultural authenticity, and decades of dedication, Pleasure Tsa Manyalo continues to preserve tradition, celebrate love and marriage, and inspire listeners across generations, solidifying her place as a true icon of Limpopo music.
