Made Kuti (born Ọmọ́rìnmádé Kútì) is a Nigerian musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria, Made is the grandson of legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and the son of Femi Kuti, a renowned Afrobeat musician.
Following in the footsteps of his family's musical legacy, Made Kuti has carved out his own unique sound, blending traditional Afrobeat with modern influences like jazz, funk, and rock. His music often addresses social and political issues, continuing the family tradition of using music as a powerful tool for change.
Made Kuti has released several critically acclaimed albums, including For(e)ward . He has performed at numerous festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Afrobeat Festival, and has collaborated with top artists, including his father Femi Kuti and American singer Alicia Keys. With his talent, passion, and dedication, Made Kuti is carrying the Kuti family's musical torch into a new generation.
