Bio

In Guadeloupe, one of the French Departments of America, a humble artistic event has just happened and in silence which, according to your reactions, will be at the origin of economic and various kinds of benefits.

Indeed, a group of everyday artists has just participated in the recording of a collective song on the rhythm of zouk, a rhythm created and popularized by the legendary musical group from Guadeloupe KASSAV.

What is it about ?
Joël FRANCISQUE, radio man, nicknamed “Mike, the phenomenal”, created a Whatsapp group intended to promote communication between artists. Within this group, he met RACEL Samuel whom he already knew. He convinces Mike to take this Whatsapp community out of the ordinary by setting up an original event.

RACEL Samuel, in fact, one of his friends, a musician-composer and experienced in collaborative composition with English-speaking musicians from Africa, Ukraine, Argentina from the digital platform Fiverr', suggested that he create a song collective, like “We are the world” composed by Michaël JACKSON and Lionel RICHIE.

Mike was already thinking about it too.
Thus, this artistic collaboration was transformed into an innovative project, bringing together varied talents within the Guadeloupean artistic community. The decision to create a collective song on the emblematic rhythm of zouk, with the contribution of talented musicians from diverse backgrounds, promises not only a unique artistic experience but also economic and cultural benefits for the region.

This project reflects the spirit of collaboration and cultural diversity that characterize the Guadeloupe artistic scene.

Immediately, Mike and Samuel broadcast three videos over three weeks, real calls for projects, inviting volunteers to participate in a collective song that must meet certain criteria:
Three chords E – A – B
Tempo: 100
Rhythm: danceable zouk therefore.

Two themes: a) “Celebrating the beauties of the French West Indies”;
b) Explain the Creole expression “Mizik Sé Lanmou” or “Music is love”.
It is mandatory to use the Creole expression “Mizik sé lanmou!” » in the choruses.
