Morgan Mafu

Morgan Mafu is an alternative rnb singer and songwriter from Durban, South Africa currently residing in Johannesburg, GP. His eclectic croons and ambiguous lyrics give his music an atmospheric vibe and introspective feel, certainly makes you self-reflect.
At an early age, Mafu had an undying love for music and poetry, his passion only grew deeper. Growing up, he was inspired by soul music and 90’s rnb as well as a huge catalogue of golden era hip hop.
He transitioned from a typical snap-finger poet to a dynamic multifaceted artist throughout 2010 to 2014 before taking a hiatus from creating music shortly after the passing of his fiancé in 2017. He has returned more focused, sincere, and experimental.
