Langa Mavuso

Langa Mavuso (born Nkosinathi Nhlakanipho Mavuso on 25 January 1994) is a singer and songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mavuso attended high school at the National School of the Arts where he majored in contemporary music. He graduated from Rhodes University with a Bachelors of Arts in politics and economics. He pursued his studies at University of Cape Town, where he studied jazz performance.

In 2016, Mavuso released his six-track debut EP titled 'Liminal Sketches'.

He draws inspiration from such artists as Caiphus Semenya, Ringo, Stimela, and Whitney Houston.
