Danny TSG Humayne

Bio

Danny TSG Humayne is a Zambian rapper, poet, singer, creative, songwriter and part-time producer. He is also an event organiser based on the Copperbelt and a correspondent for the Gender and Youth Page of the Times of Zambia.

Danny was born in the late 1990s at Ndola Central Hospital. He grew up in a neighborhood full of young people driven by what they saw on TV. He was inspired by secular rap artists he saw on TV hence he tried to imitate them. He started off by reciting other rap-artists, such as Tupac, Talib Kweli, Nas, Lil Wayne and a number of other rap-artists. Later in his primary school-life, he started writing his on lyrics. Come Junior Secondary school, he started street-rap battling and online rap battling. He won a number of competitions and later in high school he became the youngest President for the music club at his school.

With regard to his professional music career, he signed a contract under the Record Label Zic records/clot(CLOT Music). He is a presenter for a radio show called The Youth Buzz that airs every Saturday on Sun-FM 88.5) from 14 hours to 15 hours.

He is also a member of the Jesus Christ Movement family. He gave his life to Jesus Christ in 2013. He took a different route in life after a new transformation.

He has shared the stage with Zic, Mag44, Tio, Abel Chungu Musuka (fan page), Jo-Z J, Frazy Millz, Lizwe - Yes My Guy Y.M.G, DMK Singers, Esther Chungu, Afunika The Eye, Phicshawn, Terror addicts'ink and many others.

He has featured on YZONE ZNBC with his mentor and fellow rapper Zic twice. Danny, a former pupil at Kansenshi secondary in Ndola, went on to form The Jesus Christ Movement/Exodus which has had a couple of shows on Muvi TV during occasions like Easter and Christmas for example.

In January 2016 he released a new single titled ‘Don’t Tell’M‘ featuring Zic. It was produced by Cream Dollar.

Additionally, Danny is an active member of The Jesus Christ Movement and as a team,they have been having outreach programmes in various schools in Ndola as well as holding concerts and conferences.

A week after the DTE concert, they made a guest appearance at the Mulungushi University opening bash alongside Afunika and also had The Gospel Fiesta during the same weekend.
