Bio
Born in 1987, Mandingmorry (real name Haruna Touray) is a Afromanding Gambian artist born from a family of griots. His grandfather Jali Foday is a famous traditional and folklore singer. Mandingmorry began his music career in 2006 with a music quartet called Unique Clan. They released songs such as ‘Poding Poding’ and ‘Be One’. He disbanded the group to pursue a solo career as an Afro-manding artist.
In 2009, he released his first single ‘Felleh Ko Tele’ followed by another one called ‘Ku Laika Dinyeh’. In 2010, he signed a deal with Music-O Records to release, promote, market and distribute his debut album titled ‘Kibaaroo’. He signed a left the recording stable and joined Joluv Arts Entertainment in 2013. In 2014, he released his second ten-track album called ‘Dokuwolom’ (Work). Some of his popular songs are ‘Jarabali’, ‘Dinoo’, ‘Jangfaa’, ‘Ku layka Dinyeh’, ‘Ngata’ and ‘Kombo’.
