Irene Logan

Bio

The Ghana-based singer Irene Logan was born in Liberia. After losing her father at 3 months, her mother moved to Ghana. Under her stepfather, a singer and guitarist, Irene performed at a Christian event. She was only 3 years old.

Her influences include Fela Kuti, Lagbaja, Alicia Keys, Kojo Amtwi, Jasmine Sullivan, Whitney houston, Bob Marley, and Lauryn Hill.

In 2006, Irene won a talent hunt show. The win got her noticed. During the talent hunt show, she met the singer Efya. Together they released a few successful singles. She has been nominated for several awards including the KORA, Ghana Music Awards and the defunct Channel O Awards.
