Born 23 June 1989, Chrispin Muyende Musosha, better known by his stage name Shom-C, is a Zambian multi-genre music producer, sound engineer, and entrepreneur. He took an early interest in music when in Kasama where he grew up listening to popular tunes of that time and became exposed to different types of music. His parents played everything from jazz, reggae, country, rock, kalindula to rhumba. He started off as a rapper but fell in love with reggae and dancehall music. He has so far recorded and released a couple of songs but has focused more on producing and engineering.
He is the founder of Zero DB Music and AmaBeats.com and is best known for producing a Zambian hip-hop group called Zone Fam. He has produced for many other popular Zambian artistes namely Macky 2, Ozzy, P-Jay, CQ, The Holstar, 32 Karat, Redwingz, Sobre, Njoya-T and B-Flow. He is widely regarded as a key figure in fusing many rhyths. He borrows from popular Western genres of hip-hop, reggae, R&B, and EDM and fuses them with a distinct Zambian sound.
He has worked with artists like Zone Fam, Njoya Tee, Just Slim, Jay Rox, P-Jay and Ruff Kid under his Zero DB Record label.
