Sarkodie heads back to New York

Tagged History in the Making Reloaded as the sequel to his Apollo show, the event will take place on 2 September at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and is a partnership between Sarkodie’s label Sarkcess and TM Entertainment. Also performing are Ghanaian songstress Efya and the London-based collective The Compozers. Prior to his 2015 New York concert, the New York Times called the rapper "the hiplife star who resonates most with the younger crowd".

Sarkodie’s New York concert is part of a tour that would see the Ghanaian rapper also perform in Europe. Sweden, Holland, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, France, Spain and Germany will host the rapper when he embarks on the European leg of the tour.

Ahead of the New York concert, Sarkodie posted an invitation to fans. “We bringing you nothing less than the best concert you will ever attend this year,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
