
SA: ACT announces 2025 Nyoloha Scholarship Programme participants
The Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) in South Africa has announced the qualifying participants for the 2025 ACT Nyoloha Scholarship Programme (NSP), an initiative aimed at nurturing young South African talent in the performing, visual, and digital arts.
- Boitumelo Momakwe is among the recipients.
Supported by Nedbank, Sun International, MTN South Africa, and Business and Arts South Africa (BASA), the programme offers two full undergraduate scholarships to a local arts institution of the winners’ choice in 2026.
This year, over 200 applications were received from across the country, reflecting the growing interest and enthusiasm among South Africa’s emerging creatives. The ACT NSP forms part of ACT’s broader mission to empower youth through mentorship, professional development, and strategic opportunities in the cultural and creative industries.
