Open call: 2026 FRAME Mentoring programme
Applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the FRAME Mentoring programme for junior professionals in the audio-visual heritage sector. The deadline for submissions is 22 March 2026.

The initiative forms part of the wider FRAME training programme, organised by INA for more than 15 years in partnership with FIAT/IFTA and EBU Academy. It is co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.
Programme overview
FRAME Mentoring is designed to support early-career professionals in developing a specific project and advancing their careers. The six-month programme, running from June to December 2026, pairs selected participants with experienced European or international professionals in the audio-visual archive field.
The programme includes:
- Monthly online sessions with a mentor and relevant experts (June–December 2026)
- A two-week professional immersion at INA or within the mentor’s organisation during autumn 2026
- Accreditation to attend the FIAT/IFTA World Conference in São Paulo, Brazil, in October 2026
All travel, accommodation and lunch expenses are covered by the programme scholarship.
Eligibility criteria
The programme is open to junior professionals with fewer than five years’ experience in the audio-visual heritage field, whether in the same or a similar position. There are no restrictions based on age, nationality, role or area of activity.
Applicants should be involved in a project that is either ongoing or due to launch shortly. Projects may relate to, but are not limited to:
- Designing or implementing archiving workflows
- Collecting or preserving audio-visual archives
- Digitisation plans
- Audio-visual and film restoration
- Digital archive management
- Departmental or database management
- Artificial intelligence applied to audio-visual archives
- Rights management
- Research, academic, educational or cultural access initiatives
- Editorial use of archives
- Production of archive-based audio-visual content
- Post-disaster collection management
Application process
Applicants must complete this official application form by 22 March.
After the deadline, a jury will review all submissions and select two mentees for the 2026 cohort. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application.
