Nigeria: VerseOne Distribution now accepts Naira payments
VerseOne Distribution has announced a major step forward in its localisation efforts by now accepting payments in Nigerian Naira (NGN) for its range of services, including its flagship white-label software, VerseOne Pro, and music promotional offerings.
- The move forms part of the company’s ongoing commitment to making its services more accessible and inclusive for African creators, labels, and music entrepreneurs.
The move, which came into effect on 11 April 2025, forms part of the company’s ongoing commitment to making its services more accessible and inclusive for African creators, labels, and music entrepreneurs.
By enabling local currency payments, VerseOne aims to remove the barriers of foreign exchange and international transaction fees, allowing Nigerian clients to access its tools and services with greater ease and convenience.
“This marks a significant milestone in our mission to support African creators,” the company said in a statement. “We are committed to empowering local talent by offering tools that are not only innovative and effective but also easy to access financially.”
As part of its broader strategy for the continent, VerseOne also confirmed plans to roll out support for additional African currencies, including the Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), Kenyan Shilling (KES), and South African Rand (ZAR) in the coming weeks.
VerseOne Distribution continues to expand its footprint across Africa, offering tailored solutions that enable artists, labels, and digital entrepreneurs to distribute their content globally while building strong local foundations.
