The episode, which also includes Africa Now Radio host Nandi Madida, focuses on the artist’s new album INDUSTRY MACHINE.
“This cover is bigger than me,” ODUMODUBLVCK told Apple Music. “It’s for Abuja, for Naija, for every young blood that believed in raw sound before the world tuned in.”
Alongside ODUMODUBLVCK, Rap Life Radio will spotlight South African producer Kay Faith, who has released her new single Online. Known for blending gqom, hip hop, and kwaito, the track features Kenji TMZ, Creed Oasis, and Bhutlegend, and highlights her continued innovation in South Africa’s urban music scene.
The show will also feature ‘Please Don’t Kill My Vibe’, the latest single from Brotherkupa, featuring Blxckie and K1llbrady, a collaboration reflecting the cross-border energy shaping African hip hop today.
Discussing the meaning behind INDUSTRY MACHINE, ODUMODUBLVCK said: “When I say the machine, I’m talking about a system built on three things: diligence, versatility, and togetherness. My journey is bigger than me, it’s my team, my city, and my fans moving as one. That’s the energy I bring to this industry.”
The Abuja-born rapper, known for his raw and energetic style, has had a breakout year in 2025. His latest project continues to showcase his unfiltered storytelling, reflecting the complexities of urban life in Nigeria. ODUMODUBLVCK first rose to prominence in 2023 with the hit single ‘Declan Rice’, a genre-blending track that drew inspiration from drill, grime, Afrobeat, and R&B, a mix he defines as Okporoko Rhythms.
