MTN Bushfire 2025 tickets officially sold out

This year’s edition will once again take place at the iconic House On Fire venue in Malkerns, eSwatini, from 30 May to 1 June, with early camping opening on 29 May.

Themed Creativity, Unity, Sustainability, the 2025 festival promises another memorable celebration through a multidisciplinary programme featuring music, theatre, dance, spoken word, film, and a range of family-friendly activities.

MTN Bushfire Festival Weekend dates and times

• 29 May: Camping check-in opens 11am. Festival grounds open 4pm – 10pm, for early campers, who are invited to attend the Vutsa Umlilo opening ceremony performance showcase in the House On Fire Amphitheatre Stage, from 7am to 9.30pm.

Main festival:

• 30 May (4pm to 2.30pm)
• 31 June (10am to 3pm)
• 1 June (10am to 9.30pm)

Ticket safety and resale

Festival organisers urge all ticket holders to prioritise ticket safety by avoiding the sharing of barcodes, which may lead to ticket fraud. Attendees are also cautioned against purchasing tickets from unverified third-party sellers.

Cashless festival and preloading funds

MTN Bushfire is a cashless event. All purchases on site will be made via the NFC-enabled festival wristband. Attendees are encouraged to pre-load funds onto their wristbands through their Howler accounts to avoid queues and delays.

Travel packages and flight discounts

Travel packages are available from selected locations in South Africa and Mozambique, alongside a 15% discount on Air Eswatini return flights from Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Harare.
