Call for entries: 2019 Zim Hip Hop Awards

The nominees will be announced at a press conference in the capital on 11 November. To be in with a chance to be nominated for the 2019 awards, the organisers are accepting music released on local radio stations or public media platforms between 1 November 2018 to 31 October 2019.

Submissions and guidelines

• Artists should include their biographies, newspaper articles, flyers, posters, publicity pictures and contact details that can be used as reference during the selection process.
• All entries must be accompanied by the artist’s product(s). These could be in the form of DVDs, flash drives, CDs, pictures, magazines, online printouts, newspaper articles and radio interviews (voice recordings).
• Entries can be submitted by production houses, studios, stables, associations, organisations, groups, artists and/or the public.
• Individuals submitting works for selection are encouraged to supply at least three sets of the particular works/production to assist adjudicators. 
• Only Zimbabwean citizens or those with resident status can submit entries.
• Entry forms can be downloaded here via the official official website.
• Entries can be submitted at Hungwe House, 3rd floor, room 307, or online via email at submit@zimhiphopawards.co.zw.
• The submission deadline is 31 October.
