Auditions will be held at Pulse Studios in Windhoek on 5 and 6 July. The auditions will be led by dancer and former Miss Namibia Odile Gertze.
Requirements
- Dancers who want to audition should be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Dancers must be either a Namibian citizen or legally be able to work in Namibia.
- Dancers must bring either a valid Namibian ID, Namibian passport or Namibian birth certificate.
- Non-Namibian citizens can also audition if accompanied by a valid Namibian residence permit.
- Candidates arriving at the auditions without the required valid documents will not be allowed to audition.
“Our focus is to elevate the NAMAs every year and dancers fall part of this exciting objective,” NAMAs organising committee member John Ekongo said. “We thus call out energetic dancers who simply sit at home shelving the art because of the lack of platforms to come out and showcase their talent.”
