Call for applications: 2021 Show-me Festival in Switzerland
Show-me Festival is calling on independent solo musicians and duets to submit entries to perform at the third edition of the event at Moods Club in Zurich, Switzerland, and virtually via YouTube, from 22 to 24 January 2021.
Show-me Festival is the brainchild Cameroonian musician Blick Bassy (photographed) and Swiss journalist Elisabeth Stoudmann.
Selected artists will also be required to participate in the Show-me Academy in Fribourg, Switzerland, on 25 and 26 January. The call is open to all self-entrepreneurial solo or duo musicians from Africa and Europe.
Interested artists can apply here.
The application deadline is 28 July.
Interested applicants should:
- Be over 18 years old.
- Present a solo or duo formation.
- Have an approach of self-entrepreneurial artist, and do not have a booker.
- Have already published at least four pieces of music in digital and/or physical format.
- Have at least two years of live musical experience.
- Have a vision of the development of your career over the next two years.
- Have one or more live videos with a total length of 15 minutes (smartphone quality accepted. Videoclip not accepted).
