ZU.

Born Nozuko Mapoma, ZU. is a seasoned Afro-soul musician with over 20 years industry experience. Her love for music was developed in the church. Over time she grew into a performer, singing on live sets at a restaurant owned by her music teacher, thus solidifying her music career.

ZU. went on to form part of an urban-jazz band in the early stages of her prominence called LoveGlori which produced songs like 'Change' and 'Beedie'. The duo performed on prominent sages, one of which is Concerts SA.

ZU.'s most solo works are The 'Ndim' trilogy released in 2009. This three part was her solo debut which showcased her classical training and artistic versatility. Marking 20 years in the music industry, Zu. release "Ilitye' (the stone/rock) in 2026, the album is a soul-stirring reclamation of her inner child, healing and identity.
