Zeze

Zeze (real name Lonjezo Alex Katunga) is a musician from Malawi. His career as a musician began in his teens. While growing up, Zeze associated himself with musicians and this inspired him to venture into music. Back then, he would listen to music from artists such as Wayne Marshall, Ward 21, Wayne Wonder, Vybz Kartel and Busy Signal. These artists inspired his style and approach to music.

In 2006, he became a member of a music group called Agwede where he participated as lead singer. He left the group in 2011 to pursue a solo career.

Apart from music, Zeze works for the Malawian government. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Humanities (majoring in Drama & Sociology) with the University of Malawi, Chancellor College.
