Zerry DL

Divine Uzama, known professionally as Zerrydl and also as Zerry DL, is a Nigerian rapper and singer whose sound moves between Afrobeats, afrobeat and amapiano. Born on 3 December 2002 in Benin City, he represents a new generation of artists blending street sensibility with melodic versatility.

He begins his music journey in 2015 by sharing freestyle performances on social media, gradually building attention for his raw delivery and expressive style. Zerrydl breaks into the mainstream in 2023 with the release of “Puff & Pass”, a breakout single that earns his first entry on the TurnTable Top 100 and marks a defining moment in his career.

Signed to PLUTOMANIA RECORDS, he continues to expand his profile through consistent releases and collaborations, positioning himself at the centre of Nigeria’s evolving contemporary sound. His rise is further recognised when he wins the Headies Award for Rookie of the Year, cementing his status as one of the country’s most promising emerging artists.
