Hailing from Embakasi Mukuru Kwa Njenga,A-zee Coptel Baba Taifa's musical journey began in his early years. Raised in the second largest slum in Nairobi he developed a profound connection to music. His formative years were marked by poverty,police brutality,self doubt,mockery and conformity laying the foundation for the unique musical voice that defines A-zee's artistry today.

Current Projects.
A-zee Coptel just finished working on a 13 track Album project that is set to be launced on 19th October 2025.In this album he speaks about his full-time experience as an upcoming and both established artists.He shares his ups and downs through his lyrics,benefits of self belief, mental health,artistic lifestyle,artists challenges,youth challenges among other topics.He has fused a number of genres and styles in his new album just to prove his adaptability and flexibility when it comes to music and showbiz.
On his album launch he plans to execute an electric live band perfomance that has never been seen before in his musical journey.He intends to feature and collaborte more than 15 artists from within and outside Nairobi during this launch.
