Bio

Zakia Kunge is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and performer known for her work in Afrobeats, RnB, and other genres. 

She is a native of Sawla in the Northern Region of Ghana.

She was born in Accra but spent her childhood moving between Wa, Accra, and Moscow, Russia.

 Her music is influenced by a mix of Afrobeats, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. 

 She has a background in media, having hosted "Tym Out" on Viasat1 in 2014 and working with Pluzz FM and Hitz FM.

She identifies as a "genre-bender".

 She has cited Ghanaian artist Wiyaala as a major influence on her career, particularly because they are both from the Northern Region.
