we're alright

We're a group of friends who love playing music, and specifically love playing music with one another. The artistic intention of this band is to do exactly that so that whatever is going on in our lives, or the people who listen to our music lives', that everything in that moment is alright. We've been performing since November 2024 and have steadily improved, not only in terms of the types of shows we play at, but also our chemistry as band members and friends, our music, and our ability. We'd like to think that the "we're alright" sound is unique and fits into multiple genres, but if we had to put it into a genre, then perhaps indie-pop-rock is a good description!

"we’re alright" is a Cape Town-based band, taking influences from genres like rock, singer-songwriter, funk, indie, and pop, to create a unique sound that is best described as indie-pop rock. Be ready to grove to some bumping basslines mixed with rhythmic chord progressions and a sound that is authentic to "we’re alright".
