Welle

Abou Omary Mdewele, better known as Welle, is
a gifted Bongo Flava musician from Tanzania,
celebrated for his captivating voice and charming
presence. He began his musical journey in 2016
while studying at the Arts and Culture Institute
(TaSUBa), where he honed his craft and laid the
foundation for a promising career.

In 2023, Welle joined a boy band
known as The Mafik, where he
became a key member contributing
to multiple hit singles, including
“Tunaanza Na Mungu,” “Chukua,”
and “Tumia.”
These songs further established the
group's popularity and highlighted
Welle’s ability to collaborate and
shine within a team.
