W4DE (real name Kutlwano Aleze Moloi) is a young and innovative South African amapiano producer and DJ known for helping shape one of the genre’s vibrant sub-sounds, particularly Sgija, within the broader Amapiano movement. He was born and raised in Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa, a major hub for amapiano culture and sound.
W4DE burst onto the scene as one of the youngest producers making waves in Amapiano, gaining attention for his unique production style that blends deep melodies, compelling log-driven rhythms, and experimental elements. His music often captures both dancefloor energy and melodic depth, allowing him to connect with diverse audiences and music lovers.
He released his first major project, Sgijapreneur, introducing listeners to his sound and further solidifying his presence in the scene. He later followed it up with Sgijapreneur II, a larger body of work that features collaborations with other rising artists, showcasing his versatility and creative growth.
