Veedish

Born in South Africa and raised in a small village of Klopper-Doornlagte at Limpopo, Veedish carries herself with pride and the love of art and music which influences her identity as an Afrobeat, R&B/Soul, Afro-Soul, Neo Soul and Alternative artist. She realised her passion for music at a very young age of 11, where she began to exercise her vocal abilities by singing along to some of the famous songs such as Roar by Katty Perry and Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. Veedish believes that music became her pillar of strength and something to confide on when she was going through the loss of her mother when she was 15 year/ at the age of 15. Her mother was one of the most amazing woman she knew who had a powerful singing voice. Veedish uses music as her way of healing and sharing with a large number of people, her life experiences, dreams and desires. Her music became more like the book of her life. She rests her feelings on notes and chords, and her life on a pen and paper.

Even though there was a point in life where she put a pause on song composition and singing, she began to focus more on vocalising for some of the local artists she knew. The other reason behind her pause was the focus she put on her studies. Although, in 2022 she decided to get back on singing and writing songs and that's where she drew inspiration from famous artists such as Summer Walker, H.E.R, Tems, SZA, Ayra Starr, Yebba and Alex Isley. Veedish released her first single "Comot" in July 2024, featuring her producer, Percepxions. She realised that she needed to start sharing her stories with people as she believes that her music can heal someone out there who finds himself/herself relating to it. She the decided to work on her first project "Love,Fears and Tears". This project carries a lot of emotions and is one way path to officially begin her musical journey.
