Valentine Mathe

Valentine Mathe is an artist from South Africa.
She can be described as the epitome of music. SA Idol season 12, Valentine Mathe has gone with jaw-dropping performances during the competition that South Africa’s remember her by till this day. She’s an aspiring artist born in Mamelodi Pretoria.

“I am someone who has an unwavering resolve, I am determined to do well and have a successful career” says Valentine. Her talent was discovered when she performed at her school dance in 2014, from that day forth she took fate and decided to take her talent to another level.

From performing at a 5 star fine-dining restaurant in Pretoria Priva to being recognized by locals where she performed as the resident entertainer, SA Idols was her first experience performing in front of a nationally televised audience.

“Making it to top 9 wasn’t easy, not that you can ever anticipate the kind of explosive success that SA Idols had”. Says Valentine

In 2016 Valentine performed at DSTV delicious festival she graced the stage with 2016 SA Idols contestants, award winning South African band Micasa, The Muffins who are known for creativity and the best unique sound, international artists Macy Gray and Monique Bingham.
Her journey continued as she performed on major gigs In South Africa and neighbouring countries; Rock Fest in Rustenburg, Bar One lounge in Lesotho, Flamingo Casino in Kimberley, Jazz international music in New Castle alongside legend artists such as Ringo and Simphiwe Dana.

Apart from singing Valentine is someone who is not bound by one certain craft in 2018 she got an acting role from the acclaimed comedian and actor David Kau, which aired on Mzansi Magic and she has been featured on V-Entertainment and BET A-List.

Over the past couple of month’s Valentine has been working on a new single, produced by Tshwane Music Production. The song is titled ”Falling for you” which is set to drop on the 14th of February 2019. This is her first song she wrote in particular during what she describes as one of the happiest moments of her life, she challenged herself to an upbeat melody that will keep fans dancing.
