Tutz is one of the most talented female rappers from Malawi. She was born Chifundo Bandawe in a family of three. She began singing at six when she was in primary. Her journey as a recording artist began in 2011 when she started writing and recording her music.

In 2012, she launched her debut solo track titled ‘Lost In Your Love’. This was followed by ‘I Don’t Care’ (2013). The singles earned her fame in the country's music sector. This prompted other local musicians to invite her for collaborations. Since then, she began making appearances on other musician's songs chief among them Thatboi_Skillz, Revolver, Judagaga, Genii Blakk and many more. She featured on Excess’ ‘Kumalayina’ and Dee Oh Dub’s ‘Ambition’.

Her talent was not ignored, her song ‘Lost in Your Love’ made her become Malawi Music Popular Artist of the week new comer.
