Tula – Biography

Tula is a singer, songwriter, vocalist, and entrepreneur with a passion for gospel music. She is also a trained Radiography Technologist from Evelyn Hone College, School of Health Sciences.

Her musical journey began at a young age, actively participating in school music festivals and serving in the Scripture Union music team during high school. In 2020, she took a professional step in her music career by releasing her debut single, Nthawi, which was featured on platforms like Mvesesani, Retunes, Zambezi Juice, and The Natives, as well as major digital streaming platforms.

She followed up with Mfumu, which reached No. 4 on Retunes’ Top Ten Chart, and later released Exceptional, a hip-hop track featuring KingBars (Jeremiah Sambo).

In 2023, Tula showcased her versatility by releasing Deeper, a jazz single reflecting on the deep love of God, available on all streaming platforms. She has collaborated with renowned gospel artists such as Mag44, Pastor Leo, and Josh the Artist. In June 2024, she released an acoustic version of Mfumu, now available on YouTube.
