Time Square Casino

Located in Pretoria, Time Square offers world-class dining, entertainment, and conference facilities in the heart of South Africa’s capital city. The Sun International property is situated in the Menlyn Maine eco-district and is the continent's second-largest casino. The facility's 2,000 slots and 60 tables span two floors and feature a premium gaming area, Sun Privé, which offers guests a more intimate gaming environment and its own menu and dining offering. Complementing the full suite of gaming areas, there are also four separate and private gaming rooms. The rooms are available on request and fully catered and are located on the first floor of Time Square. They offer a mix of baccarat, blackjack, and American Roulette.

The casino is one of three phases in the R4.2 billion Time Square development. The casino, hotel, and arena are situated on top of a tri-level parking structure capable of accommodating up to 4,000 vehicles. The basement parking is connected underground to the Menlyn Maine car park.

The complex has 12 bars and restaurants, including celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s Kitchen & Bar South Africa, Something’s Cooking by J’Something, and renown chef Fortunado Mazzone's Forti Grill and Bar, located on the upper level. In addition to a tapas restaurant on the first floor and a wide range of restaurant's such as Sun International's KungFu Cowboy and Brew Monkey, look for a buffet diner and other popular franchises.

The property's 22-storey hotel is expected to open in March 2018 and will be situated between the casino and the state-of-the-art Sun Arena, which can accommodate more than 8,500 people and is slated to open in November this year.
