Thokozani Masike
Bio
Thokozani Masike, also known as Teekay, is a gospel artist born and raised in Pimville, Soweto. His passion for music began at a young age and was nurtured during his time at Emshukantambo Secondary School, where he served as a choir conductor.
He furthered his musical journey at Central Johannesburg College, where he studied Jazz, developing his musicality and artistic range. Teekay is deeply rooted in ministry and currently serves in the music department at Grace Bible Church in Pimville, using his gift to inspire and uplift through gospel music.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various artists. He recorded with the group Unlimited on the song “Igama Lakho,” featuring Sibusiso Nzima, which appears on the album Sound of Warfare. He has also released songs with Amachule, including “Ancient of Days” and “Oh the Blood.”
Teekay continues to pursue his calling as a gospel artist, creating music that reflects his faith, heritage, and dedication to impacting lives through worship.
