Afro Soul Ecstasy (ASE) is a dynamic six-piece band from the heart of the Vaal, Gauteng, blending the rich roots of Afro Jazz with the soulful depth of Neo Soul. ASE brings a fresh Gen Z energy to classic sounds, creating music that is both timeless and progressive, a true celebration of African rhythm, harmony, and storytelling.

Formed by a group of passionate, classically trained musicians, ASE features a captivating mix of saxophones, smooth keys, bass grooves, a tight drum kit, and stirring vocals that echo the spirit of icons like Sisonke Xonti, Kenny Baron, Mpumi Dhlamini, Sibongile Khumalo, Linda Skhakhane and Zoë Modiga.
