Tereza Mirovicova

Born on 6 December 1978, Tereza Mirovicova is an artist from the Czech Republic. She was born and raised in Czech. Her interest in music began when she was eight. Back then, Czechs were not allowed to listen to Western music and this paused a one of her challenges. She came to Malawi in 2002 and pursued her career in music. Her songs have gained her milage in the country's music industry. Her songs are sung in Chichewa and Tumbuka languages.

In December 2012, she released her single ‘Chikondi’. The song also featured in her debut which was launched in the same.

She has performed at various events such as the Lake of Stars, Blantyre Arts Festival and Doogles Lodge cultural evenings.
Besides music, she has been working as the director of boNGO Worldwide in Malawi since 2005. boNGO is an organisation that was designed to improve the standards of education in Malawi.
