Tchakaze

Tchakaze (born Teresa da Graça Rangel Semende) is a composer, singer, instrumentalist from Maputo, Mozambique.

Tchakaze debuted the stage at the age of 17, as a member of Penny Penny's band.

In 2014, she recorded such songs as 'Nkata' and 'Donguissa'. The two songs earned her awards in 2014 and 2016.

She has shared the stage with such artists as Aniano Tamele, Lizha James and Deltino Guerreiro

Tchakaze graduated from the Institute of Health Sciences of Maputo with a degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health.
