Tawonga Taddja Nkhonjera

Tawonga Taddja Nkhonjera (born 1983 in Malawi) is a talented artist from Malawi. He is a poet, stage director, ethnomusicologist and screenwriter. He is also the founder and director of an organisation Dikamawoko Arts. Heis works touches on issues regarded as taboo in the country.

He is credited for a number shorts, documentaries and music videos. He worked on the award-winning film 'The Last Fishing Boat' (Best Music award from the African Film Academy). B’ella is his feature film debut, that was premiered in April 2014 at the film festival in Zanzibar.
