Tata ( full name, Tata Paul Wiryung) is an up and coming artist based in Banso, Cameroon. He grew up listening to rap music and was inspired by artists like 2 Pac, Jay Z, M.I, Drake, Jovi, and more.

In 2015, Tata joined the New Bell Music, the record label founded by his compatriot Jovi. Also known as “Mukulah,” Tata raps about social ills, his culture and where he came from. His lyrics are written in Nlimbum and pidgin, because "one of his primary goals as an artists is to communicate directly with the environment he grew up in."
