Bio

Tam 50 (real name Tamsir Samba) is a Gambian hip-hop artist. Born in Banjul, Tam 50 started music in 2007 and was an active member of a well-known music group in Bakoteh called B.K City. The group served as a school for most local acts and has continued to produce some of the country’s finest music brains. He draws his musical aspiration from U.S. rappers such as 50 Cent, Eminem and other hip-hop legends.

He released his debut single titled ‘Chono Life’ in 2009. That same year he released his 14-track debut mixtape titled ‘Chono Life’. In 2013, he released his first debut album entitled ‘The future’. The 14-track project has various music genres.

Tam 50 has collaborated with local and international artistes. He also produced couple of music videos played at many local TV stations.

In 2016, he signed a contract with Ndonngol Entertainment and released a second album entitled ‘Rumors’. Some of his popular songs are ‘Bulen New Yengal’ and ‘Triple Tayakh’. All the songs were produced at the State of Mike Records.
