Job Supeyo Metiaki, known professionally as Supeyo, is a Kenyan musician, songwriter, and storyteller whose music blends Afrofusion, Afrobeat, and electronic influences with deep, thought-provoking narratives. Born and raised in Namanga, Kenya, on the slopes of Oldonyo Orok, Supeyo grew up surrounded by Maasai traditions, gospel harmonies, and urban rhythms, all of which shaped his unique sound. His earliest introduction to music came from his father, a guitarist who would rework popular songs into gospel renditions, planting the seed for Supeyo’s fascination with melody and storytelling.

His journey into music took a professional turn in 2019 when he co-founded Sounds Cool LLC and helped establish Room 15 Music Studio in Mbagathi. Driven by a passion for experimentation, he developed a sound that he calls a "concoction of musical influences"—blending ancestral Maasai rhythms, high-energy Afrobeat, gospel harmonies, and modern electronic textures. In 2024, he released his debut EP, Sakawera, a project that reflects a turning point in his personal and artistic growth. Meaning "crossroads" in Sheng, Sakawera captures the struggle between self-destruction and self-mastery, ambition and stagnation, tradition and modernity. Through tracks like "Sakawera," "Kisabuni," and "My Life," Supeyo tells the story of a man choosing transformation over chaos.
