Stellenbosch City Orchestra

The SCO forms part of the South African City Orchestras SACO) network and as such exchanges programmes and resources in order to use economies of scale to bring the overall costs of performances down.

The vision of these orchestras are to create work for professional musician, afford amateurs the opportunity to perform in large scale symphonic concerts and at the same time bring accessible music to the community within which it function. Truly music for the community by the community.

The SCO is basically a sole proprietorship with myself that operates all aspects of the project from Artistic direction, finances and conducting of all projects. I all take ALL RISKS and thus the Covid 19 disaster has all but destroyed these community projects.
