STANLEY NICHOLAUS is a multi - percussionist and Drummer from Arusha, Tanzania . He started his journey of music at the tender age of 12 self teaching himself through ear and Youtube tutorials. His earliest influences and inspirations are drummers TITO PHILEMON (Tatetitotu) , BARAKA NGOWI and PETER AMERTY from Tanzania. Currently, his favorite drummers are THOMAS PRIDGEN, TONY TAYLOR jr , and TONY ROYSTER jr .

His journey to becoming a professional drummer started in 2013, when he started to play for his church and continued to work hard on his career. As a result, in 2015 he started playing on big events like KAN FESTIVAL, TUKUZA FESTIVAL, KARAMU YA KIFALME by JAY JOHNAS, SIFA VITANI by SHEDRACK SIMBEYE. He also became the official drummer for JAY JOHNAS and SHEDRACK SIMBEYE.

In 2019, he decided to go and study music at TUMAINI UNIVERSITY MAKUMIRA. From there he has found new interests in new genres of music in the lines of the traditional music of Tanzania and other countries in Africa. His mission is to express himself through his art in an entertaining and informative way that encourages aspiring artists in the country to understand traditional music as a vital genre in the industry.
