Sphinx Lunatic

Bio

Sifiso Brian Makhubo (born 21 January 1995) is a budding artist known as Sphinx Lunatic, who sings, raps and produces music. Born and raised in Soweto, Sphinx Lunatic scooped inspiration from his brother to become a musician like him.

At a young age, Sphinx Lunatic got inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Otis Redding, Proverb, Jay Z, Lil Wayne to name a few and they influenced his musical taste and sound. His 1st song was recorded in 2011 titled Party Hard but due to lack of knowledge on how to promote music the song didn't get enough recognition. He later on embarked on a journey to create more music for people to relate to and enjoy. He started releasing more music and getting opportunities to perform at pubs, schools and local events. The musical journey changed when he released his single titled ' I Rep Soweto' in 2017, which accumulated plays on radio stations and got him an opportunity to be at the South African Hip Hop Awards Corner Cyphers in 2017, to later being interviewed on Metro FM with Oskido.

His rise to fame continued as he kept on releasing music and sharing stages with the likes of Stilo Magolide, Reason and Rouge performing for Joburg Carnival.
He recently performed at Soweto Theatre booked by Showbiz Entertainment Africa for the likes of John Kani, Tony Kgogoge and KB to name a few that were in the audience.

Sphinx Lunatic kept on working his way to the top as he kept on releasing music and getting more airplays and started getting international recognition, his current single is playlisted on Mizfitz radio (San Diego) Hot 1097(Atlanta Georgia) and Greenhitz (Atlanta Georgia).

Sphinx Lunatic has never held back on his music and keeps on giving good music to the people to enjoy. He keeps on setting new boundaries for his music and himself as an artist.
