SpheJay iGhost is an emerging Gqom music producer and artist from Molweni, Durban. Formerly known as Jay’dakiid, the 18-year-old has been making waves in the scene since 2021, steadily building a reputation for his distinctive sound and high-energy productions.
Inspired by his late uncle SLAGO, SpheJay’s music reflects both personal influence and the vibrant musical culture of Durban, the home of Gqom. His breakout track *Angelic Rhythm 2.0* helped introduce his sound to a wider audience and marked an important step in his growing career.
With his roots firmly grounded in Molweni and a passion for pushing the genre forward, SpheJay iGhost continues to release new music and establish himself as one of the promising young voices in the Gqom movement.
