Spare Dog Records

Spare Dog Records is a recording label in the UK owned by Mattias Stålnacke. It was founded to ensure that musicians are heard around the world. The recording stable supports original modern-day music in the country and some other parts of central Southern Africa. It was launched in 2014 as a sister company of Moto Wambili Studios.

Moto Wambili Studios records and produces music for local artists while Spare Dog Records ensures that these artists are heard outside the country. The company is also responsible for selling of albums such that local music can reach other countries.
