Bio
Born as Benedict James Kilevori in the vibrant city of Arusha on July 15, 2001, Sollo Brown’s musical journey began in the heart of his local church at the tender age of six. His early performances in Sunday schools laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for music.
Influenced by the sounds of Chris Brown and Justin Bieber, Sollo started doing covers and soon found himself captivating audiences in clubs, bars, and lounges from Dar es Salaam to his hometown Arusha. Despite his growing musical career, Sollo pursued and completed a degree in Civil Engineering.
In 2018, Sollo showcased his talent in the Unitalent competition, ranking in the top 12 among university and college participants in Dar es Salaam and Pwani. His musical prowess was further recognized in 2023 when he reached the semi-finals of the renowned “Bongo Star Search” competition.
Now, Sollo Brown is dedicated to creating his own music, promising his fans a “sensational moon vibes” experience. His versatile voice, which he describes as therapeutic, spans various genres including R&B, Bongofleva, Pop, and especially Afro pop.
