Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye is known as Simi. She was born in at Lagos, Nigeria. She started her career singing gospel music at a very young age, in her church choir before transitioning to secular music.It was 2014 by then.The music genre she does R&Be, soul, Afrobeats.In  2019 she left X3M Music to establish her own record label called "Studio Brat" 

She was popular in 2014 after releasing a single named "TIFF" .
