Sebab

Sebab is known for his skills and lyrical depth. He talks about anything and tries to set up his lyrics consciously. He doesn’t want people to see him as a politician. His rap isn’t spiritual because he believes you can’t reach for something spiritual. He rather talks about history, science and philosophy.

As a student he read a lot of books about black culture, Islam, the Black Panthers and Malcolm X. All these things are interesting to him because every written word brings him closer to the truth. He doesn't only listen to conscious rhymes, but he thinks Hip Hop should be more multi-faceted to include German rap as well as English rap and Tigrinya rap or any other kind of rap. To him HipHop is art and life.
